The Art of Wholesome Eating

The Art of Wholesome Eating is a healing program designed to bring your body in balance with one focus - Food.

The basis lies in the famous quote by Hippocrates that emphasizes the fundamental importance of nutrition in promoting and maintaining good health. The phrase embodies the idea that the food we consume plays a pivotal role not only in nourishing our bodies but also in preventing and treating diseases. "Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food".

In this course you will learn all about:

  • Various types of cooking fats, oils, spices, milks, grains, fruits, and vegetables
  • Types of cooking utensils and cookware
  • How to clean and prepare vegetables properly
  • The five elements in Ayurveda—earth, water, fire, air, and ether (or space)—and how they relate to our body, dosha, and taste
  • Understanding the different dosha body types
  • Acid/ Alkaline balance in our food and body and how it is linked to Sattvic, Rajasic, and Tamasic foods
  • Fermentation and how fermented foods and drinks impact the gut microbiome. Learn to make your own Kambucha
  • Laws of nature that affect digestion, disease process and how to bring mind and body in harmony
  • Breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner recipes - demo and tasting different kinds of khichdis , gluten free fresh breads, salad dressings and much more
  • Last but not the least – healthy and tasty desserts
