Hiteshini Jugessur and Tanu Malaviya

As an Art of Living teacher, Hiteshini brings more than 20 years of experience as a facilitator and trainer in the fields of meditation, yoga, wellness and personal development. An influential and multi-faceted leader, she has brought her expertise to initiate social development programs in diverse socio-economic and cultural spheres of the population, from at-risk youth, indigenous communities, prisons, to government officials and the corporate sector, both in North America and internationally. Hiteshini holds a Ph.D. in Surgical Research from McGill University, Canada and a B.Sc. Hons. In Biochemistry from the University of Manchester, U.K. She is passionate about sharing the benefits and transforming powers of Sri Sri Yoga based on her own experience of how this knowledge has shaped her life.

 
Tanu Malaviya is a registered Ayurvedic Practitioner, Art of Living Facilitator, Registered Yoga Teacher, and integrated therapies practitioner. She has been in the clinical natural medicine and therapies field full time for more than 15 years. Stemming from a 22 year journey and curiosity into her own health, the mind-body connection, community, the environment, and life itself, Tanu brings a whole-life, practical, sensitive, and experiential approach to her classes and clinical encounters.

Tanu is a student of the renowned Ayurvedic physician, Dr. Vasant Lad, through whom she graduated with the title of “Ayurvedic Practitioner” from the Ayurvedic Institute in New Mexico, USA. A passionate healer, Tanu is always updating her knowledge and is currently continuing advanced studies in clinical Ayurveda at Kerala Ayurveda Academy in California whilst running her busy practice in Vancouver, BC.  She has also studied as a specialised Bowen Therapist, advanced Marma Therapist, and Biofeedback/ Applied Kinesiology Practitioner.
