Training for Mother & Newborn Care

Sri Sri Ayurveda is delighted to offer you the prospect of 2 intensives on Ayurvedic Mother & Newborn Care in collaboration with Sacred Window School.
Ayurveda advises 42 days of specialized massage for mothers as well as daily warm oil massage for babies for at least their first 18 months.
a. Become an Ayurvedic Postnatal Bodywork Technician

The TMNC program is designed to offer a valuable niche qualification for massage therapists and other body workers. Ayurvedic “home treatments” after childbirth are one of the 3 most valuable ways to prevent and reverse problems within non-crisis care options.
b. Newborn Massage Training

This program is designed to empower mothers and other caregivers to give massages to babies and children. In this course you will learn how to empower mothers’ and caregivers’ to gain confidence, and teach them the knowledge and skills they need to practice on their own.
Our students come from divers backgrounds, which include qualified therapists, health care professionals, occupational therapists, doulas, midwives, yoga teachers and laypersons.
