Family March Break Retreat is a special opportunity for families to learn and grow together at the Art of Living Centre. While parents can opt to take part in the transformative Sky Breath Meditation Retreat, kids and teens enjoy their own engaging schedule—spending half the day in outdoor education and forest school, and the other half exploring yoga, meditation, and tools for emotional well-being. The retreat begins with a Family Fun Day, filled with playful games and team challenges that spark excitement, connection, and shared joy from day one.

Parents have the option to join in the full all week, just for Family Fun Day, or to drop kids off each day 9am - 5pm. Families are welcome to book rooms and stay together on campus for the week if they choose.
March Break Adventure Junior (Ages: 4-7) Our junior adventure program helps young children explore self-expression, spiritual wisdom and kindness in a fun and nurturing setting. Through creative activities, nature-based learning, and joyful free-play, children build confidence while cultivating a deep sense of belonging and empathy for the world around them. The program draws on childrens’ innate love of nature and animals, encouraging outdoor play and exploration in a forest setting, and taps into the wisdom of nature to better understand ourselves and the world around us.
SKY Kids March Break Adventure (SKY Kids + WOW*) Ages: 8-12 The SKY Kids course supports children’s wellbeing by teaching the research-backed SKY breathing technique as well as wisdom and life skills to increase happiness, creativity, and a sense of belonging. When children have the tools to manage stress and negative emotions, they’re able to excel in all areas of life.
SKY Teens March Break Adventure (SKY Teens + WOW*) Ages: 13-17 The SKY Teens program teaches the research-backed SKY breathing technique along with life skills to reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus and school performance, and build positive relationships with friends, peers, parents and teachers.
* WOW (Winter Outdoor Skills Workshop) invites youth to embark on a joyful outdoor adventure, exploring the wonders of the forest. Participants will learn to build fires, construct shelters, and discover secrets of trees, plants and animals. This hands-on experience fosters a deep connection to the natural world and its rhythms.
Parents Week Enjoy a rejuvenating March Break where parents have the option to participate in the transformative Art of Living Part 1 course—featuring breathwork, meditation, and yoga to boost mental clarity and emotional balance—while also enjoying time in nature with forest trails, snowshoeing, and skating. Participation in the adult program is optional; parents are also welcome to simply drop off their children from 9am to 5pm daily and enjoy their day off-site. Meanwhile, kids are immersed in a fun and enriching program that blends yoga, breathwork for confidence and wellbeing, and outdoor forest adventures, all in the care of our experienced and passionate team.
Family Day Included in your retreat package is a full day of workshops and activities for families to do together on Monday March 2. Tailored to all age groups the day includes parenting workshops, yoga classes, outdoor winter activities, art activities, challenges and races. Families will enjoy delicious vegetarian meals, including kid-friendly dishes. It’s a chance to bond, learn, and connect with other families in a supportive, spiritual and natural environment.
